Company Director of Prism Stonemasonry, Christopher Ablang, grew up in Sydney, and trained as a masonic sculptor at the revered National Art School, Darlinghurst. Later he became a Fine Arts educator, only to discover that his idol Michelangelo was a stonemason, and that he preferred to ‘do’ rather than to teach.

He set course to follow in the footsteps of his idol, and completed an Australian apprenticeship in stonemasonry. He was engrossed in the knowledge of traditional stone working methods from his mentors, and worked alongside many of Sydney’s most respected stonemasons.

With decades of industry experience he has intently trained a team that he guarantees will consistently deliver quality stone walls and stone paving with thoughtful architectural design, exceptional craftsmanship, and unparalleled structural integrity.
